As your school board member, Charlie has worked tirelessly to strengthen and expand trade and technical education, improve school operations, enhance safety, and ensure that every student learns in the best possible environment.

He was instrumental in building the Marion Barnes Trade School and bringing the new T. W. Josey Career Center to life, which opened doors for students to gain high-quality skills training and real-world opportunities. With double master’s degrees in law and public administration from National Jurist University and Columbia Southern University, Charlie combines academic expertise with practical leadership. He is a lifelong resident of Richmond County and a proud father, foster father, and grandfather of several Richmond County students.

Beyond the boardroom, Charlie serves as an adjunct instructor at Augusta Technical College and runs Augusta Paralegal, LLC, a firm dedicated to supporting small businesses, families, and elder care. His career reflects a deep commitment to service, education, and community empowerment.

Charlie’s mission is clear: continue strengthening trade and technical education, defend public education, and seek community partners who share the vision of preparing every student for success. He believes that schools thrive when educators, families, businesses, and community leaders work together toward a common goal.
